Here are videos featuring John. The majority of videos also feature Barbora, as they have performed as a team for many years, not just as a duo but with quartets, sextets and even with big bands.

A lock down, trans-continental collaborative piece. Jonathan Taylor, old friend and guitarist, wrote the basic song and sent the guitar track to us from Johannesburg. With the help of possibly too much wine, Barbora wrote the melody and lyrics and I recorded her vocals and played bass and piano. The video consists of some choice travel photos, from the various places we have called home.

Lockdown Countdown continues with another great, albeit lesser known song by Irving Berlin. One of my all-time favorite songs.

May 2020. We were coming down the home stretch of our Lockdown Countdown, as the Czech Republic gradually returned to normal operation. (BUT it turned out that it was only temporary.) Here’s another ballad, co-written and recorded by Bing Crosby in 1932.
