John's original piece, "Jade", is included and was featured in 2000 by RealAudio on their downloadable sampler.

JOYFUL JAZZ

This holiday CD has a personal, cozy-by-the-fire sound consisting of just vibes and piano that is evocative of the holiday season.

"Joyful Jazz" features both holiday titles which deserve greater airplay, such as Claude Thornhill's "Snowfall" and Irving Berlin's "Count Your Blessings" but also includes creative takes on traditional classics such as "Jingle Bells" and "Sleigh Ride."

Two original pieces, Fresk's "Prayer for Peace" and Horsfall's "Gift of the Magi" are included.
